Bilingual Business Development Assistant (ENG-ESP) 

 

Contract Position - Entry level 

Location: The location of this position is remote in the United States. 

Compensation: $20 - $25/hr. 

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours a week

We are a feminist social impact business that provides bilingual communications in English and Spanish, outreach, and development services to help nonprofits maximize the impact of their work. We focus on progressive organizations that work to protect and advance gender equity in the United States. 

 

We are hiring a Business Development Assistant who shares our commitment to gender equity and social justice. The ideal candidate for this position will play a key role connecting with potential clients, supporting our existing connections, and contributing to the growth and outreach of our non-profit consulting services.

Responsibilities of the role:

​

  • Conduct industry research to identify potential clients aligned with our mission and emerging nonprofit trends. 

  • Nurture connections with potential clients and sustain relationships with our existing partners. 

  • Proofing, editing, composing and compiling material used in the preparation and delivery of client proposals. 

  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and prospects. 

  • Maintain and update client information within our database, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 

  • Provide general administrative support, including appointment scheduling and file maintenance. 

  • Support the design and implementation of strategies for growth, retention, and development.  

  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, proposals, marketing materials, and other necessary documents. 

  • Support in optimizing and streamlining internal procedures. 

  • Identify new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations in line with our mission. 

  • Assist in digital engagement and contribute to outreach initiatives. 

  • Participate in events and Community Outreach. 

 

Required skills and qualifications:

​

  • Demonstrated interest in business development and the nonprofit sector. 

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or a related field. 

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a social impact setting. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google applications. 

  • Adaptability to new tools and software. 

  • Detail oriented, resourceful and flexible. 

  • Strong organizational skills. 

  • Excellent written communication skills.

Preferred:  

​

  • Familiarity with feminist values. 

  • Experience with digital engagement. 

  • Experience with Monday.com, Asana, and MS Teams.
