Meet the founders
Lilian Medina Romero, LL.M, MPP
CO-FOUNDER: POLICY COMMUNICATIONS & OPERATIONS
For over 15 years, Lilian has worked in the nonprofit and government sectors, building programs from the ground up and communicating their impact to the community, funders, and policymakers. She brings that insight to her policy work, understanding that lasting change depends on mobilizing people and helping constituents get a seat at the table. Trained in law and policy, she turns complex issues into messages people can understand. Her experience in project/risk management keeps her campaigns running smoothly, so messaging lands in sequence for greater impact.

Trained in international human rights law, she brings a rigorous, rights-based lens to her campaign. She leads digital campaigning end to end, including segmenting donor audiences, creating targeted messages across email and social media, and highlighting program impact to keep supporters engaged and momentum building. In addition to her work at TBS, Lorena leads a grantmaking project supporting women in Colombia and consults on developing strategies to prevent gender-based violence and discrimination.
